Paint correction London: why it comes before ceramic coating
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your car's exterior and adds long-term protection, shine and resistance to dirt, water and UV. What it doesn't do is hide or repair flaws in the paint underneath. Whatever is there before the coating goes on stays visible after.
Paint correction uses machine polishers to remove or greatly reduce swirl marks, scratches, water spots and oxidation without harming the original paint. Starting with a smooth, defect-free surface means the coating bonds better, looks glossier and lasts longer.

What's the difference between paint correction and paint enhancement?
Paint correction is a multi-stage procedure that removes deeper flaws and restores a perfect finish. Paint enhancement is a single-stage polish that increases shine and lessens small swirls.
What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 paint correction?
Stage 1 removes light to medium defects such as swirls and enhances the glossy finish. Stage 2 removes deeper scratches using more vigorous techniques.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Our Infinity Wax ceramic coating lasts up to 1-2 years, and it can last longer with regular pH-neutral shampoo every few weeks, which we can offer. Our Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light packages are rated for 4-5 years and Crystal Serum Ultra for 9-10 years.
Do I need to be present during the detail?
No, you don't need to be there the whole time. We just need access to your vehicle at the start and for a quick final inspection at the end.
Do you need access to water or electricity?
No. Our mobile unit brings its own power and water, so there's nothing you need to provide.
